Singles draw has been made for the Miami Open presented by Ita\u00fa<\/a>, the second ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in 2016, taking place at Crandon Park from March 23 to April 3.<\/p>\n

World no.1 and five-time champion Novak Djokovic is a top seed and has a first round BYE. He will open his title defence against Kyle Edmund (GBR, ATP no.87).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Novak\u2019s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:<\/p>\n

3rd round<\/strong>: Martin Klizan (SVK, 25), Vasek Pospisil (CAN)
\n4th round:<\/strong> Dominik Thiem (AUT, 14), Feliciano Lopez (ESP, 21)
\nQuarter-finals:<\/strong> Tomas Berdych (CZE, 7), Richard Gasquet (FRA,10), Benoit Paire (FRA, 20)
\nSemi-finals:<\/strong> David Ferrer (ESP, 8), Marin Cilic (CRO, 11)
\nFinals:<\/strong> Andy Murray (GBR, 2), Stan Wawrinka (SUI, 4), Rafael Nadal (ESP, 5), Kei Nishikori (JPN, 6), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA, 9)<\/p>\n

Last year, Novak beat Andy Murray in the final 7-6, 4-6, 6-0, becoming the only man to win the Indian Wells-Miami title double for a third time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Djokovic will be looking to add his sixth Miami crown to his collection of 27 Masters titles, following triumphs in 2007, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015.<\/p>\n

The Serb, biding for his fourth title of the year, has a 36-5 event record in Miami, the site of his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 triumph.<\/p>\n
