The two players have met once, in the second round of last year\u2019s Roland Garros.  Nole won 6-3, 6-4, 6-1.{nl}{nl}If he passes first round successfully, Novak\u2019s second round rival will be the winner of the match between Marco Chiudinelli (SUI) and Michael Llodra (FRA).{nl}{nl}Djokovic\u2019s possible opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:{nl}{nl}Quarterfinals: Tommy Robredo (ESP,5), Janko Tipsarevic (SRB){nl}Semifinals: Gael Monfils (FRA,4), Mikhail Youzhny (RUS,6){nl}Finals:  Nikolay Davydenko (RUS,2), Robin Soderling (SWE,3), Ivan Ljubicic (CRO,7), Viktor Troicki (SRB,8){nl}{nl}This will be Novak\u2019s third appearance in Rotterdam.  The Serb reached quarterfinals in 2006, and semifinals in 2007.{nl}{nl}Djokovic didn\u2019t play at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament last year, so he\u2019ll gain points for every win.{nl}{nl}The indoors event\u2019s prize money is  \u20ac 1,445,000.
