2. Novak vs Stan Wawrinka Australian Open quarter-final (6-2, 4-6, 2-6, 6-3, 7-9)
The four-time Australian Open champion suffered a 6-2, 4-6, 2-6, 6-3, 7-9 defeat to Stanislas Wawrinka in a thrilling five-set quarterfinal match at Rod Laver Arena. Twelve months after their memorable five-set battle at Melbourne Park, the pair again provided an epic match for the crowd. The Swiss went on to win his first Grand Slam title.
