Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open 2012 in a thrilling five-set match over Rafael Nadal in the finals 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-5, defending his title in Melbourne. It was certainly the longest and one of the toughest and greatest Grand Slam finals in history.
