ATP List: Nole maintains clear lead

Reigning world no.1 Novak Djokovic continues to hold a clear lead in the men’s tennis rankings issued by the ATP on Monday, August 5.

Nole is on top with 12,040 points, ahead of Andy Murray (8,610) and David Ferrer (7,120).

Novak is the two-time defending champion at the 2013 Rogers Cup presented by National Bank. The main draw of the sixth ATP World Tour Masters event of the season gets underway at noon on Monday, at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal.

Djokovic bidding to become the first player to win three Canadian titles in a row since Ivan Lendl in 1987-89. The 26-year-old Serbian star has won 14 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles and is bidding for his second of the season after dethroning Rafael Nadal at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.
