Djokovic-Erlich edge past Frenchmen to advance to finals in London!

The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic hit the doubles court on Saturday teaming with Jonathan Erlich of Israel to defeat no.8 seeds Julien Benneteau and Michael Llodra 6-7(7), 6-3, 10-6 in 1 hour and 35 minutes.

The Serbian-Israeli pair, who are making their team debut this week, defeated Frenchmen to reach the finals of the AEGON Championships. It’s their fourth win, third over seeded teams.

This will be Novak’s second career doubles final. He lost his first in Adelaide 2007, in pair with Czech Radek Stepanek.

Novak and Erlich had a 6-1 lead in the first set tie-breaker and five set points, but the French duo made turn-around and won it 9-7.

Djokovic and Erlich took the second set 6-3 and then super tie-breaker 10-6 to advance into the finals of the ATP World Tour 250 grass-court tennis tournament in London.

They will face Karol Beck and David Skoch in Sunday’s final about 18.00 CET. The Slovakian-Czech duo upset no.1 seeds Nenad Zimonjic (SRB) and Daniel Nestor(CAN) 6-3, 6-4.
