The draws for the Rio 2016 Olympic tennis tournament (August 6-14) have been made.
Nole, who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Games in Beijing, is a top seed, and will open his campaign in singles competition on Sunday about 20:30 local time (Monday 01:30 CET) against world no.145 Juan Martin del Potro.
Djokovic fell to the Argentine in the bronze medal match four years ago in London.
Novak’s possible opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:

3rd round: Jack Sock (USA, 14), Kyle Edmund (GBR)
Quarter-finals: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA, 5), Roberto Bautista Agut (ESP, 10)

In the first round of doubles, Serbian duo of Novak Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjic will take on Marin Cilic and Marin Draganja (CRO) on Saturday about 23:00 CET.
The Olympic tennis event will be held at the Olympic Tennis Centre. All matches will be the best of three sets except for the men’s singles final which will be the best of five sets. Players reaching the semi-final are assured of an opportunity to compete for a medal, as the two losers in the semi-finals contest a bronze medal match.
The 2016 Summer Olympic Games opening ceremony will take place on Friday, August 5, at 20:00 local time (Saturday 01:00 CET).
Teams will enter in alphabetical order, according to the language of the host country, apart from the Greek team, which enters first for the Olympics, and the team of the host nation, Brazil, who will be marching in last.
