The men’s 2016 US Open draw will be led by reigning champion and world no.1 Novak Djokovic, followed by the Olympic gold medalist Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal.
Nole will be looking for his 13th Grand Slam title in New York, at the final major event of the season, taking place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from August 29 to September 11.
It will be Novak’s 12th appearance at Flushing Meadows (57-9 record), where he lifted the trophy in 2011 and 2015. Last year he beat Roger Federer in the final (6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4).
The Swiss is out with injury for the rest of the season and will not compete in New York.
