Nole eases through to third round of Madrid!



The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic booked his place in the third round of the Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open with a straight sets win over Spaniard wild card Oscar Hernandez, 6-3 6-3 in 1 hour and 39 minutes.

An early break in the second game of the match was enough for third-seeded Novak to take the set 6-3.

Djokovic broke Hernandez’s service in the third game of the second set and then held convincingly to extend his lead to 3-1. The Serb used his fourth break-match point in the ninth game for the final result 6-3.

Nole will play against world no.36 Andreas Seppi in the third round. The Italian defeated American Sam Querrey in three sets, 6-3 4-6 6-4.

Their H2H is 5-0 for Novak. They last met in the semifinals of Serbia Open when Djokovic won 4-6 6-1 6-2.
