Novak back in business!


The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic reached the third round of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament in Montreal after defeating world number 225, homeplayer wild card Peter Polansky in tight straight sets 6:4, 7:6 (8:6) in 2 hours.

Polansky demonstrated his forehand quality in the first set, while Novak was struggling with his service. Peter made a break for 3:0 lead, but then Nole raised the level of his game and turned the set around. World number four took the initiative, played more aggressive, and it paid off, he won the set 6:4.

The Canadian continued in the same rhythm in the second set. It was decided in a tiebreaker and more experienced Djokovic won it 8-6.

Novak´s third round opponent will be either American John Isner or Russian Mikhail Youzhny. Their second round match is scheduled on Wednesday.
