Singles draw has been made for the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters on Friday.

Three weeks after triumphing in the Astana Open final, Novak Djokovic returns to action in Bercy.

The final ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the season is taking place in Paris from October 31 to November 6. Eight seeds (1-8) get BYE in the first round.

Record six-time champion Novak is no.6 seed and will open his quest for a seventh title in the second round against Maxime Cressy (ATP no.34). It will be their first career encounter.

The French-born American eliminated Diego Schwartzman (ARG) 6-3, 6-3.

Novak’s possible opponents in the later stages of the competition are:

3rd round: Jannik Sinner (ITA, 11), Karen Khachanov (RUS)
Quarter-finals: Casper Ruud (NOR, 3), Marin Cilic (CRO, 15)
Semi-finals: Rafael Nadal (ESP, 2), Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 5)

Finals: Carlos Alcaraz (ESP, 1), Daniil Medvedev (RUS, 4), Andrey Rublev (RUS, 7)

It will be Novak’s 16th appearance at the Paris Masters. The 35-year-old Serbian star won the event in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2019 and 2021.
