Novak continued his good run of form into the 2023. He began the new season with a triumph in Adelaide, beating American Sebastian Korda 6-7 (8), 7-6 (3), 6-4 in the final for his 92nd career trophy.

When Novak converted his championship point against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the 2023 Australian Open final (6-3, 7-6, 7-6), not only did he lift a record-extending 10th Norman Brookes Challenge Cup and his 93rd career title, he also equalled one of the most important records in tennis history. The Serbian star is now on equal terms with Rafael Nadal on the Grand Slam titles leaderboard, with 22 Major trophies. With the victory, Novak also returns to the top of the ATP rankings.

On June 11, Novak made history, once again! He beat Casper Ruud 7-6 (1), 6-3, 7-5, to win his third Roland Garros crown and a historic 23rd Grand Slam title, one clear of Spaniard Rafael Nadal on the all-time list. Nole also became the first man to win each Grand Slam event at least three times. He is the oldest Roland Garros champion at the age of 36 years and 20 days. With the triumph, the Belgrade native secured his return to No.1 in the ATP Rankings.

By beating Carlos Alcaraz 5-7, 7-6 (7), 7-6 (4) in Cincinnati final, Novak clinched a record-extending 39th Masters crown and his 95th career title. He also secured qualification for the season-finale Nitto ATP Finals.

At the 2023 US Open, Novak made history again. By beating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the Men’s singles final in New York, Djokovic won his 24th Grand Slam singles title, fourth US Open crown and 96th career trophy .He has won three of the four Major titles in 2023, becoming the first man to achieve this feat on four occasions. Nole will reclaim no.1 in the ATP Rankings on Monday, September 11, for a record-extending 390th week.

Novak clinched a record-extending seventh title at the Rolex Paris Masters, and his 97th career trophy, with a straightforward 6-4, 6-3 victory over Grigor Dimitrov in the final. He also reached the milestone of 40 Masters 1000 titles.

Simply the BEST! With a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Jannik Sinner in the championship match of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Novak won a record seventh crown at the prestigious year-ending event, breaking a tie with Roger Federer for most titles.
