Novak’s final preparation before the season’s second Grand Slam tournament will be at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, a Masters 1000 tournament in Rome (May 7–18). Nole won the Italian Open six times (2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2021, and 2022). Last year he lost to Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in the third round.
