Nole holds off Rune to reach semi-finals!
World no.1 booked his spot in the semi-finals at the Rolex Paris Masters with a 7-5, 6-7 (3), 6-4 win over defending champion Holger Rune. Novak, who is chasing 40th ATP Masters 1000 title, will face Andrey Rublev (RUS, 5) in the last four on Saturday.

Six-time champion rallied from a set down to book his place in the last-eight, following a hard fought 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 win over Tallon Griekspoor in two hours and 37 minutes. Nole will next play against the winner of the match between Holger Rune (DEN, 6) and Daniel Altmaier (GER).
Novak downs Etcheverry to reach R3 in Paris
Top seed defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry to reach the third round of the Rolex Paris Masters. Novak sealed a 6-3, 6-2 triumph in one hour and 23 minutes, breaking his rival once in the first set and twice in the second. He goes on to face Tallon Griekspoor (NED, H2H 2-0).

The final ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the season is taking place in Paris from October 30 to November 5. Record six-time champion Novak is no.1 seed and will open his quest for a seventh title in the second round against Tomas Martin Etcheverry.
