After competing in Beijing, Novak has arrived in Shanghai, where the penultimate Masters 1000 event of the season is taking place from October 7 to October 18. Four-time Shanghai champion (2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018), is seeded no.10 and will begin his campaign in the second round against Hubert Hurkacz (POL, H2H 8-0).
