The main singles draw for the 2026 edition of the US Open has been made on Thursday. No. 4 seed Novak Djokovic will open his campaign in his 20th US Open appearance against world No. 48 Mariano Navone (Argentina).
Novak downs Fritz for a record 47th Grand Slam semi-final!
Djokovic is through to his 47th Grand Slam singles semi-final, that is more GS semi-final appearances than any man has had in history. The second seed advanced to the last four of the US Open after dispatching Taylor Fritz in straight sets - 6-1, 6-4, 6-4, in two hours and 35 minutes.
