Novak secured a 7-5, 6-1 win as he beat Tallon Griekspoor to move into the semi-finals of the Gonet Geneva Open in 77 minutes. The top seed will next face Czech Tomas Machac.
World no.1 and 24-time Grand Slam champion will be on the courts of the Parc des Eaux-Vives next week after he has been awarded a wild card by the ATP 250 event organisers.
