Novak cruises into Roland Garros second round
In the first round of the Paris Grand Slam, the world No. 6 eased past American Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets, 6–3, 6–3, 6–3, needing just under two hours on Court Philippe-Chatrier to seal the win.
Draw revealed: Novak’s road at Roland Garros
The Roland Garros organizers revealed the main draw for the season’s second Grand Slam on Thursday afternoon. The tournament will take place in the French capital from May 25 to June 8. World No. 6, seeded sixth in Paris, will open his campaign against 30-year-old American Mackenzie McDonald (USA), currently ranked No. 99 in the ATP rankings.
