Gentlemen’s singles draw has been made for Wimbledon, the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world (June 30-July 13). In his 20th appearance at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Novak (6) will open his campaign against world no.40 Alexandre Muller.
Novak cruises into Roland Garros second round
In the first round of the Paris Grand Slam, the world No. 6 eased past American Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets, 6–3, 6–3, 6–3, needing just under two hours on Court Philippe-Chatrier to seal the win.
Novak starts strong in Astana
Fourth seed Novak Djokovic started his quest for a fourth tour-level title of the season in style on Wednesday, beating world no.81 Cristian Garin 6-1, 6-1 to reach the second round at the Astana Open.
