Novak came back from a set down and saved five match points before defeating two-time defending champion, no.3 seed Andy Murray, 5-7, 7-6 (11), 6-3 in 3 hours and 21 minutes in a blockbuster final on Sunday to capture his first Shanghai Rolex Masters title.

Nole continued his run of form on Friday as he beat world no.21 German Tommy Haas 6-3, 6-3 in one hour and 22 minutes to reach the 2012 Shanghai Rolex Masters last four.
