Long day today. Unfortunately, Viktor and I lost our match. We played our best, but the guys were just better than us. The good thing is that Janko and Ziki won, so we are still in the race for the medal in the doubles. Both Ana and Janko won their singles matches, and tomorrow is my turn to defend the national colors :) I play 3rd match on Centre court, and luckily for me this time there will be no rain delays. Wish me luck!

Polako se spremam za sutrasnji mec protiv Rodika. Nazalost, Viktor i ja nismo uspeli da se plasiramo u naredno kolo u dublu. Dali smo sve od sebe, ali Svedski tim je bio bolji od nas i zasluzeno su odneli pobedu. Na svu srecu, Ziki i Janko su pobedili pa i dalje imamo sansu za medalju u konkurenciji dublova. I Ana i Janko su pobedili danas u singl konkurenciji, pa je sutra i na mene red da odbranim nacionalne boje :) Igram 3ci mec na centralnom terenu. Ovog puta nece biti prekida i odlaganja zbog kise. Pozelite mi srecu!

I’ll never forget the last night’s spectacle! The excitement, adrenaline, the atmosphere – everything was just perfect! A great, positive energy was felt among athletes, as well as among the massive audience. I haven’t felt anything like that in a long time and I’m still under the strong impression. It really gave us a special motivation boost for the start of the games. Andrija Zlatic won the first medal for our country! Let’s go Serbia!!! Idemo!

Sinoćnji događaj nikad neću zaboraviti! Uzbuđenje, adrenalin, atmosfera koje je bila neverovatna. Svuda se osećala snažna pozitivna energija i među olimpijcima, kao i među mnogobrojnom publikom. Tako nešto dugo nisam osetio i još sam pod utiskom! Injekcija dodatne motivacije za sve nas: prvi dan i prva medalja: bravo Andrija! Idemo Srbijo!!!

Had a lot of fun yesterday on Wimbledon. I exchanged with Thomas our national pins during our training (you can see on photo how happy we were!). We also ran off from court to see and support Andy carrying the Olympic torch. It was really nice :) I’m off now to another round of practices. Speak soon!

Juce je bio bas zabavan dan na Wimbldonu. Trenirao sam prvo sa Andy-jem, pa onda sa Tomasom. U jednom trenutku smo prekinuli trening da idemo da gledamo i podrzimo Andy-ja dok nosi Olimpijsku baklju. A ovo na slici sto vidite smo ja i Tomas srecni dok razmenjujemo nase nacionalne bedzeve :) Eto, toliko od mene za sada, moram polako da se spremam za trening.
