Charity tennis event, Adria Tour, has started on Friday in Belgrade. The program included Kid's Day, mixed and men's doubles, music performance by famous pianist Lola Astanova and virtuosic Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulovic, and the draw for the main competition.

The world no.1 tennis player, Novak Djokovic, host of the Adria Tour along with his brother Djordje, who is also the tournament director, made a warm welcome for the Austrian Dominic Thiem and German Alexander Zverev in Belgrade. The Djokovic brothers waited the two tennis stars at the airport.

The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, held practice session at the stadium centre court in preparation for the Adria Tour first weekend, taking place from June 12-14 in Belgrade.

Organised by Novak, Adria Tour will be held in cities across the Balkans, with the kick-off tournament to be organised in Belgrade, on the TC Novak courts (13/14 June), followed by Zadar (20/21 June), Montenegro (27/28 June) and Banja Luka (3/4 July). In addition, part of it will be held in Sarajevo, on Sunday, 5 July, where Novak and Damir Dzumhur will play an exhibition match.

In conjunction with the cancellation of The Championships, Wimbledon, the ATP has announced continued suspension of the ATP Tour until July 13, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The ATP Rankings will be frozen throughout this period and until further notice.

Tennis world no.1 Novak Djokovic, his wife Jelena, and the Novak Djokovic Foundation, will donate € 1 million to help buy ventilators and other medical equipment in his native Serbia.

The "BNP Paribas Open" in Indian Wells and the "Miami Open" in Miami will not take place at this time due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus and the safety of the participants and attendees at the event.

Novak rallied from a set down and saved three match points en-route to a 2-6, 7-6 (8), 6-1 win over third seed Gael Monfils. He will face Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 2) in Saturday's final.

Novak improved his perfect W/L record in 2020 to 16-0, following a 6-2, 6-2 victory over seventh seed Karen Khachanov (RUS). The world no.1 will next play against no.3 seed Gael Monfils (Friday, 16:00 CET).
