Draw for the Adria Tour series in Zadar revealed
The second leg of the charity event is taking place in Croatia’s coastal resort on June 20-21. World no.1 Novak Djokovic leads the field, joined by Alexander Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric, Marin Cilic, Andrey Rublev, as well as Pedja Krstin and Danilo Petrovic, finalists of the HTS tournament.
Novak defeats Zverev, Thiem wins Adria Tour in Belgrade
Novak toppled Alexander Zverev 4-0, 1-4, 4-2, but that was not enough for him to reach the final, as he needed to beat the German in straight sets. After impressive Round Robin performances from both Filip Krajinovic and Dominic Thiem, the two met in the Adria Tour final. The Austrian recorded a 4-3 (2), 2-4, 4-2 triumph to become the champion.
Adria Tour: Novak beats Troicki, falls to Krajinovic on Day 1
Novak returned to the court in style on Saturday afternoon at the Adria Tour, beating his friend and compatriot Viktor Troicki in straight sets 4-1, 4-1 in just 37 minutes. In the evening session match, Novak lost to Filip Krajinovic 4-2, 2-4, 1-4.
Groups set for Adria Tour tennis spectacle
Charity tennis event, Adria Tour, has started on Friday in Belgrade. The program included Kid's Day, mixed and men's doubles, music performance by famous pianist Lola Astanova and virtuosic Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulovic, and the draw for the main competition.
Novak and Djordje Djokovic welcome Thiem and Zverev
The world no.1 tennis player, Novak Djokovic, host of the Adria Tour along with his brother Djordje, who is also the tournament director, made a warm welcome for the Austrian Dominic Thiem and German Alexander Zverev in Belgrade. The Djokovic brothers waited the two tennis stars at the airport.
