Nole secured a year-end number one crown for a record-breaking seventh time with a 3-6, 6-0, 7-6 comeback win over Hubert Hurkacz in Paris semis. The top seed and five-time titlist will take on defending champion Daniil Medvedev (RUS, 2) in Sunday's final (15:00 CET).

Novak booked a place in the Rolex Paris Masters semi-finals, following a 6-4, 6-3 triumph over Taylor Fritz in one hour and 14 minutes. He goes on to meet seventh seed Hubert Hurkacz of Poland (H2H 2-0).

In his 49th career major quarterfinal, Novak will take on ninth seed Matteo Berrettini.

World no.1 recorded a 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 victory over Ricardas Berankis on Saturday afternoon to book a place in the fourth round at Roland Garros. He will meet Lorenzo Musetti for a spot in the last eight.
