Novak rallied from a set down to beat Matteo Berrettini 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 and secure his spot in the US Open semi-finals under the lights in Arthur Ashe Stadium, improving his record at Flushing Meadows to 80-12. He goes on to play Alexander Zverev (GER, 4).

Three-time US Open champion came back from a set down to beat 2014 runner-up Kei Nishikori of Japan 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 for a place in the fourth round. Novak goes on to play Jenson Brooksby (USA) on Monday.
Novak dominates Griekspoor to reach third round in New York
World no.1 continued his chase for the Grand Slam, following a convincing 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Dutch qualifier Tallon Griekspoor in one hour and 39 minutes. Novak will next face 2014 US Open runner-up and former world no.4 Kei Nishikori (17-2 H2H record).
Novak wins in four sets to begin US Open campaign
Novak started his Grand Slam quest with a 6-1, 6-7, 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Holger Vitus Nodskov Rune. He is now 22-0 in Grand Slam matches this season, and into the second round at the US Open.
