Impressive Novak won his 20th career Grand Slam title, tying Roger Federer’s and Rafael Nadal's all-time record. The top seed rallied from a set down to defeat Matteo Berrettini 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 and claimed The Championships trophy for the sixth time.
Novak continued his quest for a third consecutive Wimbledon title with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 win over unseeded Marton Fucsovics on Centre Court. He will face Denis Shapovalov (CAN, 10) in Friday's semi-final.
Novak is through to his 50th Grand Slam quarter-final following a 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 victory over 17th seed Cristian Garin. For a place in The Championships semis, the top seed will play 48th-ranked Marton Fucsovics (HUN, 2-0 H2H) on Wednesday.
The top seed defeated American qualifier, world no.114 Denis Kudla, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7) to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon. He goes on to face no.17 seed Cristian Garin of Chile on Monday (1-0 H2H).
Nole moved another step closer to his 20th Grand Slam with a 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Kevin Anderson. The top seed will next play against American qualifier Denis Kudla (#114, 2-0 H2H).
The only grass court Major event will be held from June 28 to July 11, at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. In his 16th appearance at Wimbledon, Novak will open title defence campaign against world no.250 Jack Draper (GBR, WC) on Monday at 13:00 BST / 14:00 CET.
