ATP Cup groups announced
The official tournament draw for the inaugural ATP Cup (3-12 January 2020) was held at the Sydney Opera House on Monday. Top seed Serbia, led by world no.1 Novak Djokovic, will play at the Pat Rafter Arena in Brisbane in Group A with France, South Africa and one more country that will qualify on the second entry deadline of 13 November.
Defending US Open champion Novak retires from R16 match
Novak's US Open title defence came to a halt on Sunday when the Serb retired from his fourth-round match against Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss led, 6-4, 7-5, 2-1, when the top seed stopped due to a left shoulder injury. They were facing off for the first time since the 2016 US Open final.
US Open: Novak sets up Wawrinka last 16 clash
World no.1 cruised past American Denis Kudla in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. The three-time champion is into the Round of 16 for the 12th consecutive year. He will take on 2016 titlist and 23rd seed Stan Wawrinka on Sunday (19-5 H2H record).
Novak overcomes injury scare to beat Londero, moves into R3
Novak defeated the big hitting Argentine 6-4, 7-6 (3), 6-1 to progress in two hours and 15 minutes under the Arthur Ashe Stadium roof. Next up for the top seed is Denis Kudla (USA, ATP #111).
Defending champion Novak into second round of the US Open
Novak started his title defence in a strong fashion by beating Roberto Caraballes Baena in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1, 6-4. He next faces Juan Ignacio Londero (ARG, ATP #56).

The main singles draw for the last Grand Slam tournament in 2019 has been made on Thursday. No.1 seed and defending champion will open campaign in his 14th US Open appearance against Roberto Caraballes Baena from Spain (ATP #76).

Novak beats Pouille for Cincinnati semifinal
Top seed and defending champion recorded a 7-6 (2), 6-1 victory over Lucas Pouille to book a place in the Western & Southern Open last four. For a spot in the championship match, Novak will face Daniil Medvedev (RUS, 9).
Novak marches on into Cincinnati quarter-final
World no.1 cruised into the quarter-finals at the Western & Southern Open after a masterclass performance against qualifier Pablo Carreno Busta (6:3, 6:4). He will next face Frenchman Lucas Pouille (ATP #31).
Novak powers past Querrey to reach third round in Cincinnati
Defending champion advanced into the last 16 at the Western & Southern Open on Tuesday, following a 7-5, 6-1 win over world no.45 Sam Querrey. The match lasted one hour and 18 minutes.
