Serbia is through to the Davis Cup semis following a comeback 2-1 win over Kazakhstan. Kukushkin clinched the opening point beating Kecmanovic 7-6, 4-6, 7-6. Novak then recorded a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Alexander Bublik to level the tie. In the deciding doubles match, Nole and Cacic teamed up to defeat Golubev and Nedovyesov 6-2, 2-6, 6-3. Serbia will face Croatia at the Madrid Arena on Friday (16:00 CET).

Serbia is through to the quarter-finals of the Davis Cup as one of the two best runners-up. The 2010 champions will meet Kazakhstan on Wednesday, December 1.

Dusan Lajovic gave Serbia a 1-0 lead in their tie against Austria on Friday at the Davis Cup Finals, beating Gerald Melzer 7-6 (5), 3-6, 7-5. Novak Djokovic backed up the win, toppling Dennis Novak 6-3, 6-2.

2018 Nitto ATP Finals trophy holder Alexander Zverev put in a high quality performance to beat five-time former champion 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 in 2 hours and 28 minutes, reaching the title match for the second time.

Novak scored a third straight win at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, beating alternate Cameron Norrie 6-2, 6-1. He goes on to play no.3 seed Alexander Zverev in Saturday's semi-final.

Five-time champion Novak Djokovic recorded a 6-3, 6-2 victory over fifth seed Andrey Rublev on Wednesday at the Nitto ATP Finals to qualify for the semi-finals (he will play Alexander Zverev), as he moved to 2-0 in GREEN Group action.

Djokovic clinched historic seventh year-end no.1 finish as a crown to another exceptional season in which he won five titles.

Novak got his Turin season finale campaign off to a good start against Casper Ruud, with a 7:6, 6:2 victory in his opening round-robin match on Monday. The Serbian star moved to 1-0 in Green Group, as well as Andrey Rublev (RUS, 5) who outplayed Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 4).

The Nitto ATP Finals is the year-end climax to the ATP Tour season. The tournament will be held at Turin’s Pala Alpitour stadium, Italy’s largest indoor sporting arena, from November 14 to November 21.
