Former world no.1 Novak Djokovic has accepted a wild card into next week’s Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell. It will be the Serbian’s first appearance at the ATP World Tour 500 event since 2006. The 30-year-old Belgrade native is no.6 seed and has a first round BYE.
Serbia will next play against France in away tie on September 15-17. It will be a rematch of the 2010 final when Serbia won their maiden title.
Nole will be playing in his fifth final this season, and his 90th overall (63-26 record).
