Novak advanced to his 10th Internazionali BNL d'Italia final on Sunday, following a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Casper Ruud. The top seed plays no.8 seed Diego Schwartzman (ARG) on Monday, looking to capture a record-breaking 36th ATP Masters 1000 title.

Top seed and 2018 champion advanced to the final with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 comeback victory against Roberto Bautista Agut. Should he take the title, Djokovic will equal Rafael Nadal's record of 35 ATP Masters 1000 trophies and he will also become the first player ever to win the Golden Masters twice.
